Leading employees is a major challenge and responsibility - especially in the case of diverse groups. Different ages and diverse social and ethnic backgrounds of team members require special abilities of leadership. With my leadership experience over the last years I was able to develop and strengthen these abilities.
International Experience
Because of the constantly growing world internationality is becoming increasingly important. Many (even more and more medium sized) companies work together with various locations all over the world. This requires management teams to have a high degree of flexibility, mobility and adaptability. In the context of my professional travel activities of up to 90% (Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East) and most recently my full time Executive Assignment in the US I was able to gather and intensify those experiences that are vital for business within a globablized world.
Digitization
The digitization has reached all industries and company sizes. It became much more than just an abstract subject for insiders. The effective use of information is a prerequisite for being able to succeed in the competition of global markets. In addition to my long term activity in software supported process management, I also work with the subject for my Master Thesis for my MBA: How to turn "big data" into "smart data"?
Business Process Management
The focus of my professional experience in recent years has been the reorganization of business processes for customers to meet the requirements of the competitive markets. The reduction of process costs was always the focus. Lean processes bring the decisive price advantages on the market and at the same time reduce the increasingly important "time to market". Digitization can more and more be leveraged for BPM.
Endurance
Never give up is a guiding principle for both my professional and personal (especially sporting) life and helps to reach goals.
Supply Chain Management
A focus of my professional experience is the area of SCM. The challenge of controlling and optimizing the material flow is particularly important in discrete manufacturing (especially in the automotive industry). In this area, digitization offers a particularly great potential for innovation.

Begin responsible and solving problems, either alone or with the help of others - but never just "shrugging".
Global Procurement / SRM
Procurement processes become more and more global. Low unit costs can bring decisive competitive advantages. To manage a global supplier base efficiently is the subject of SRM. In addition to the costs, the quality and the risk have to be managed.
Project Management
Working in project organizations is becoming increasingly common - sometimes for special projects within line organizations, sometimes as a primary form of providing goods and services. However, the many advantages of project organizations (especially agility and flexibility) are accompanied by the challenge of managing projects efficiently. Only a good project management ensures projectr completion "in-time" and "in-budget". I can offer experience from 15 years in project management.
Law
Although I have not taken a legal profession, my legal studies is a good guide in many areas - from drafting of contracts to corporate law. Decisions can thus be taken more quickly and to the benefit of the own organization.
Business Development
The exploration of new business areas is the prerequisite for steady growth. For this purpose my experience in the development of subsidiaries can be useful: they include willingness, strategic thinking and consistency in implementation.
Software
Extensive - also practical - knowledge of software programming not only helps to understand coherences, possibilities and complexities in development and application, but also enable efficient communication with developers and their managers.
